We Work in Small Sections, Not One Long Strip
Arm hair – especially around the forearm and elbow – grows in different directions. Applying wax over a long area at once can cause some hairs to break instead of being removed cleanly. Your specialist checks the direction of growth and works in smaller sections to help the wax grip the hair more effectively and reduce breakage.
We Don’t Wax the Same Spot Twice
If a few hairs remain after the first pass, we don’t reapply wax to the same area, which helps avoid unnecessary stress on the top layer of skin. Instead, your specialist carefully removes individual hairs with tweezers.
Hygiene at Every Step
One applicator is used for one wax application only. A used applicator never goes back into the wax pot. Every client gets fresh gloves and a disposable treatment-table cover.

How to Prepare for Arm Waxing
A good waxing appointment starts before your specialist even warms the wax. A few simple steps can help you prepare:
Grow your hair to about 1/4 inch (6 mm).
If the hair is too short, the wax may have trouble gripping it. For most people, this length takes about 2–3 weeks after shaving.
Gently exfoliate a day or two before your appointment.
A mild scrub can help remove excess dead skin cells. Keep it gentle — the goal is smooth skin, not irritated skin.
Come in with clean skin on the day of your appointment.
You can shower beforehand, but avoid applying cream, oil, or lotion to your arms afterward. These products can leave a film that makes it harder for the wax to grip the hair.
Choose comfortable clothing.
Loose sleeves are best after waxing. Less friction during the first few hours usually feels more comfortable.
When should you tell your specialist in advance? If you have active irritation, sunburn, broken skin on your arms, or you use retinoids or take medications that make your skin more sensitive, let us know before your appointment. Your specialist will check the skin and let you know whether waxing is appropriate that day.
How Does Arm Waxing Work?
We cleanse the skin first.
We wipe the arms with a professional cleanser to remove leftover lotion, oil, sweat, and anything else that could keep the wax from gripping the hair properly.
We apply warm wax.
For arms, we use Aloe Gel Soft Wax. Your specialist spreads it in a very thin layer in the direction of hair growth.
We remove the hair with a strip.
A waxing strip is placed over the wax. The skin is held taut, and the strip is removed quickly against the direction of hair growth. We continue section by section until the entire selected area is complete.
We remove any wax residue.
After waxing, we wipe the skin with professional oil so your arms don’t feel sticky.
We finish with soothing aftercare.
A calming product is massaged into the skin to help reduce tingling and redness and leave the skin feeling comfortable.
WAXING AFTERCARE
Aftercare After Arm Waxing
Your skin doesn’t need a complicated 10-step routine after waxing – just a few simple rules:
For the first 24 hours, give your skin a break.
Skip the pool and intense workouts right after your appointment. It’s also best to wait before tanning.
Avoid overheating the skin.
A normal warm shower is fine, but avoid baths, saunas, and very hot showers for the first several hours.
Don’t exfoliate immediately after waxing.
Wait at least 48 hours. If the redness is gone and your skin feels calm, you can return to gentle exfoliation.
After that, exfoliate regularly but gently.
Once or twice a week is usually enough. There’s no need to scrub your arms hard with a rough washcloth – gentle care works better.
Keep your skin moisturized.
Once your skin has settled, use a regular moisturizer or lotion without a strong fragrance.
If you notice small red bumps, don’t panic.
Mild redness or sensitivity can happen right after waxing and usually fades gradually. At home, you can apply a cool compress for a short time or use a soothing product.
Most importantly, don’t pick at ingrown hairs.
If the tip of the hair is already visible at the surface, you can gently lift it out with clean tweezers. If it’s deeper under the skin, apply a warm compress for 10–15 minutes to soften the area and help the hair come through naturally.

Can women with sensitive skin get arm waxing?
In many cases, yes, but your specialist should check the skin first. Wax should not be applied over sunburn, open skin, or active irritation.
