Patch Test – this is a procedure for testing for an individual’s intolerance to the components in the glue, the main potential allergen.
Why is it needed? helps to identify possible allergic reactions to full extensions.
How is it carried out? Masters apply several short artificial eyelashes (5-10 pcs.) with the use of glue on the outer corner of each eye. The hand skin test is less informative.
How long will the test take? The reaction must be observed for 24-48 hours.
What are the signs of a reaction? Itchiness, redness, swelling of the eyelids. If these symptoms appear, you should discontinue extensions.
Noteworthy: one negative patch test does not provide a 100% guarantee of not having allergies in the future, but significantly reduces risks.
