Acne treatment training: what two focused days actually cover

Quick answer

Acne Treatment Pro at ANNAZUR runs two days and ten hours for licensed estheticians — current price is on the course page. The time goes into assessing cases from mild to complex, selecting a protocol, and planning a case over months — with supervised practice on live models.

Acne treatment training: what two focused days actually cover

Acne is the case most estheticians lose confidence on, because it is the one where doing more makes things worse. The skill is not a stronger protocol. It is reading the case and knowing what to withhold.

Why acne is different from every other case

Most facial work rewards doing the thing well. Acne punishes doing too much of it. A barrier that is already compromised does not need another acid, and an inflamed face does not need deeper extraction — it needs a plan that spans months and a client who understands why this week looks like restraint.

Hands-on facial training at ANNAZUR Academy

That is why acne rarely follows one script, and why a course on it is mostly about judgment.

What the two days cover

The course works through assessment first: reading a case from mild to complex, and separating what is inflammatory from what is congestion, scarring or a damaged barrier. Then protocol selection — which approach fits this face now, and what the next three appointments look like.

Manual cleansing performed by a licensed esthetician

You also get access to the ANNAZUR treatment protocols and a Certificate of Completion.

Practice on real faces

The course includes supervised hands-on practice with live models inside the working spa. That matters more here than elsewhere: photographs flatten exactly the texture and inflammation you need to learn to read, and a model with genuine active acne is not something a classroom can simulate.

Who it is for

Acne Treatment Pro is designed for licensed estheticians. It assumes you already perform facials and have met enough acne clients to know where you hesitate.

If you are not licensed yet, this is not the place to start — Florida requires 220 hours at a licensed cosmetology school before you may work on clients at all. We will say so at consultation rather than take the booking.

What it costs and how to decide

Two days, ten hours; the current price is on the course page. Before anyone enrolls we confirm prerequisites, professional scope, course fit and the model arrangements, and that conversation is free.

The useful question at that consultation is not “what will I learn” but “which case did I get wrong last month”. If the answer is an acne case, this is the course. If it is something else, we will point you at something else.

Also in this series:

The short version.

  • Two days: ten hours, with the price on the course page.
  • Judgment, not protocol: assessment, protocol selection and planning a case across months.
  • Live models: supervised practice on real active acne inside the working spa.
  • Licensed only: designed for estheticians who already practice.
  • Certificate: a Certificate of Completion and access to our protocols — not a license.

Two days, ten hours in total.

What does it cost?

The current price is on the course page.

Do we work on real clients?

Yes. The course includes supervised hands-on practice with live models in the spa.

Is this the mandatory continuing education for renewal?

No. ANNAZUR is not a Board of Cosmetology approved CE provider, so this course does not count toward your ten renewal hours. It is technique training, with a Certificate of Completion.
