How Long Does a Lash Lift Last?

Quick answer

About a month. The lift stays on the lashes you have now, and those lashes shed on their own cycle — roughly four weeks. In practice clients report anywhere from three weeks to six, and the repeat rhythm is once a month. The one rule is spacing: back-to-back lifts with no gap do not give the lash time to recover.

How Long Does a Lash Lift Last?

The short answer is about a month. The reason is worth knowing, because it explains why two people leave the same appointment and get different mileage out of it.

The curl leaves with the lash

A lift reshapes the lashes you have at that moment. Those lashes then shed on their own cycle — roughly four weeks — and the new ones grow in straight. Nothing is failing when the curl fades; the lashes that held it have simply been replaced.

That is also why a lift cannot be topped up the way extensions can be filled.

Book the repeat about a month out — that is the rhythm the lashes actually keep.

Three weeks to six, honestly

Clients report a spread: a minimum of about three weeks, and up to a month and a half for some. A lift can also lengthen how long lashes stay in place, which is part of why the upper end exists.

When to repeat

Once a month is the rhythm, and every three to six weeks is the workable window. The one rule is spacing: lifts done back to back with no gap do not give the lash time to recover, and that is where damage would come from rather than from the lift itself.

The first 24 hours

Keep them dry and hands-off — no water, no steam, no sauna, no mascara. There is nothing to do before the appointment, and after that first day there is no home routine at all.

Price

Lash lift and tint is $150, or $120 with a membership and on a first visit. Lash tint alone is $35.

Why the range varies.

  • Your shed cycle: the curl leaves with the lash, so your own growth cycle sets the calendar — about four weeks for most people.
  • Three weeks to six: the realistic spread. A lift can also extend how long lashes stay put, which is why some clients get longer.
  • Repeat monthly: that is the rhythm; every three to six weeks is the workable window.
  • Do not stack them: no back-to-back lifts without a gap. The lash needs the recovery time more than you need the curl.

Lash lift timing. Questions answered plainly.

Why did mine drop sooner than a friend’s?

Because lash shed cycles are individual. The service is the same; the calendar belongs to your lashes.

How soon can I repeat it?

Once a month is the standard rhythm, and anywhere from three to six weeks works. Sooner than that is the one thing we say no to.

What do I do in the first 24 hours?

Keep them dry and hands-off: no water, no steam, no sauna and no mascara. That is the whole list.

Does a lift damage lashes over time?

No — nothing is attached and nothing is pulled. The only risk is stacking lifts with no gap between them.

What does it cost?

Lash lift and tint is $150, or $120 with a membership and on a first visit. Lash tint on its own is $35.
