Brow lamination certification: requirements and what it covers
Brow lamination certification is a one-day course covering hair structure, perming products, timing and supervised practice on a real model. ANNAZUR Academy in Jacksonville, Florida includes a starter kit; what you may legally perform still depends on your Florida license.
Brow lamination is the service that made brushed-up brows normal. It is also the one where a practitioner who does not understand the chemistry leaves a client with straw. One day separates those two outcomes.
What lamination does to a brow
It is a perm. The chemistry softens the hair so it can be redirected, then sets it in the new direction. Coarse hairs that grow downward, a cowlick at the inner corner, three directions at once — these are direction problems, and direction is what lamination controls.

What it cannot do is create a hair. A genuinely bare patch needs pigment work, not lamination, and saying so to a client is part of the job.
Why the chemistry is the whole course
Over-processing is the entire risk, and it is invisible until it is not. Brow hair is finer than lash hair and takes the product faster; a timing that works on one client damages another.
That is why the theory block is hair structure and perming products rather than a list of steps. Understanding what the product is doing is what lets you adjust for the brow in front of you instead of running a timer blindly.
The client conversation
Lamination is performed with the client’s eyes closed, on a part of the face they look at every day. The appointment goes well or badly largely on how you set expectations first.
The course covers how to keep a client comfortable through it, and what to promise — which is the difference between a rebooking and a refund.
Bring your questions about chemistry and timing. The consultation is free.
Practice on a real brow
You practice on a real model under supervision. Brow hair varies enormously between people and no amount of video substitutes for feeling how a coarse brow responds differently from a fine one.

You finish with an industry-recognized certificate of completion.
What it costs and what comes with it
The current price is on the course page, and it includes a comprehensive starter kit so you can practice the same week. Taken together with Lash Lift and Tint, there is a combined package at a lower total.
Clients who laminate brows very often lift lashes, so the pair tends to earn back faster than either alone.
Who it suits
No prior experience is required. It works for a beauty professional adding a high-demand service and equally as a first step into the industry.
What you may legally perform depends on your license, and we raise that at the free consultation before anyone enrolls.
Also in this series:
The short version.
- It is a perm: direction is the problem it solves, not density.
- Chemistry first: over-processing is the whole risk and it is invisible early.
- Real model: brow hair varies too much to learn from video.
- Kit included: — kit included.
- Pairs with lashes: a combined package costs less than the two taken separately.
