How Often Should You Wax Your Eyebrows?
Every three to four weeks. That is the interval where regrowth is long enough for wax to grip properly but short enough that the shape you paid for is still there. Wait much longer and the appointment turns into rebuilding the shape rather than maintaining it — and the outline you liked has to be found again.
There is a simple answer to this and a reason behind it. The answer is every three to four weeks. The reason is that brow waxing is a maintenance service, and the interval decides whether you are maintaining a shape or rebuilding one.
Why three to four weeks is the window
Wax needs something to grip. Come in after ten days and there is not enough regrowth for a clean result, so hairs get missed and the shape looks unfinished within days.
Leave it six or eight weeks and the opposite happens: the outline is gone. Your esthetician maps the shape again from scratch, which is more work and a bigger change than you probably wanted.
Book the next visit before you leave — the rhythm is what keeps the shape.
What consistency actually buys you
Booking on the same rhythm keeps the hair in the same growth cycle. That is why long-term clients need less removed each time and why their brows read tidier between appointments — the growth is synchronised rather than random.
The habit that ruins it
Plucking strays yourself between visits. It feels helpful and it is the single most common reason a mapped shape drifts: a hair pulled from just inside the line changes the line. Leave them. They are what the next appointment is for.
Tint on every visit?
Not always. The semi-permanent tint fades gradually, and plenty of clients have it on every second appointment while keeping shaping on the three-to-four week rhythm. After a tint, keep the brows dry for the first 24 hours.
Eyebrow Correction, Shape & Tint is $69 for first-time clients and members instead of $90 — shaping 10 to 20 minutes, tint 20 to 30.
Why 3–4 weeks.
- Enough to grip: wax needs real regrowth; coming in too early means hairs that get missed and a shape that looks unfinished within days.
- Not enough to lose the line: at three to four weeks the mapped shape is still readable, so the visit is maintenance, not reconstruction.
- Consistency shows: staying on the same rhythm keeps hair in the same growth cycle, which is why regular clients need less work each time.
- Do not pluck in between: the temptation to tidy strays yourself is what undoes the mapping. Leave them; they are the next appointment.

What if I leave it longer than a month?
The shape stops being visible, so your esthetician has to map it again from the regrowth. You still get a good result — it just takes the full shaping work rather than a tidy-up.
Can I come sooner than three weeks?
You can, but there may not be enough regrowth for wax to hold, and you pay for a session that cannot do much. Three weeks is the practical floor.
Should I book the tint every time?
Not necessarily. The tint fades gradually, and some clients tint every second visit. Shaping is what keeps the shape.
Does regular waxing thin my brows permanently?
Regular waxing keeps the same growth cycle and the hair comes back finer over time within the mapped shape. That is the point — it is not damage.
