Microblading Training

How much does microblading training cost, and what is included

Quick answer

Microblading training cost varies by what is included: online theory, in-person days, a live model, a kit you keep and post-course support are the parts worth comparing. ANNAZUR Academy in Jacksonville, Florida includes all five; current pricing is on the course page.

How much does microblading training cost, and what is included

Most microblading courses end the moment the certificate is printed. That is exactly when the hard part starts, and it is why so many graduates never take a paying client.

Theory happens before you arrive

The online course comes first, and it is not a formality. Thirty video lessons cover the science of skin and pigments and technique for every facial zone, and fifteen technical manuals cover safety, anaesthetics, sterilization, hygiene standards and setting up a workspace.

The point is to arrive having already learned the things that can be learned from a screen, so the days in the room are spent on the things that cannot. You keep access to all of it for life, which matters more than it sounds — you will come back to the pigment chapters in month three, not week one.

You have to pass the theory to attend

Each module ends in a practical assignment that gets reviewed. This is unusual, and deliberate: it stops people arriving on day one having watched the videos at double speed, which wastes their money and everyone else’s time.

Three days, and each one does a different job

Day one reviews the key theory, goes through equipment, tools and proper workstation setup, then starts hands-on practice on latex — hand position, machine control, the fundamentals.

Day two is demonstration. Your trainer performs the full procedure on a live model from start to finish while you watch, analyze each stage and ask questions throughout, then practice the demonstrated technique on latex with guidance.

Day three is yours. More latex to warm up, then the full procedure on your own live model under direct supervision, with corrections as you go. That is where the Certificate of Completion is earned.

Eight hours a day, and the days can run consecutively or be spaced out so you can practice at home in between.

Not sure the format suits you? Ask before you enroll — the consultation is free.

The month afterwards

A month of Telegram access to your instructor, with personalised feedback and homework review. In practice this is where the questions you did not know you had get answered — the first client whose skin behaves differently, the healed result that is lighter than expected.

You also get to observe instructors working with real clients, which teaches things no course structure can: how the consultation runs, how long things actually take, what gets said when a client changes their mind about shape.

Beginners are the normal case here

No prior machine experience is assumed. The method is built to take someone from nothing to working on a real model inside three days, which is only possible because the theory is done beforehand and the practice is supervised the whole way through.

All hands-on materials are provided, and you get curated links for buying your own professional kit afterwards rather than guessing from a supplier catalogue.

What it does not do

It does not give you a license. Permanent makeup is tattooing in Florida, which means a tattoo artist license from the Department of Health and a licensed establishment to work in — no private course can issue either. What we can do is teach the technique and be the establishment named on your application, since both ANNAZUR locations are licensed tattoo establishments.

Course details and enrollment steps are on the course page.

Also in this series:

The short version.

  • Theory first: thirty lessons and fifteen manuals, done at home, with lifetime access.
  • Validated: practical assignments are reviewed before you attend.
  • Three days: eight hours each: latex, a supervised demonstration, then your own live model.
  • A month after: instructor feedback and homework review when the real questions appear.
  • Not a license: the technique is ours to teach; the license comes from the Department of Health.

Microblading training. Questions answered plainly.

Do I need experience with a tattoo machine?

No. The program is built for beginners, which is why theory comes first and every practice stage is supervised.

How long is the in-person part?

Three days in person, eight hours each — 24 hours in total. They can be consecutive or spaced out.

Will I work on a real person?

Yes. You watch a full procedure on a live model on day two and perform one yourself on day three.

What happens if I struggle on the day?

That is what direct supervision is for. Corrections happen during the procedure, not afterwards.

Do I keep access to the theory?

Yes, lifetime access to all materials.

Does the certificate let me work legally?

No certificate does. In Florida you need a tattoo artist license and a licensed establishment.
