What Is Brow Lamination and How Does It Work?
Brow lamination is a keratin treatment that softens the bonds inside each brow hair so it can be combed into a new direction and set there. No pigment, no needles, nothing permanent — the effect holds four to six weeks and fades as the hairs return to their own pattern. It makes brows read fuller by closing small gaps with redirected hair, tames coarse strands and survives sweat and humidity. At ANNAZUR it is $90 for first-time clients and members, $120 standard, and it is usually booked together with tint and shaping.
Brow lamination is the treatment people book when their brows grow in every direction at once. It does not add hairs and it does not put pigment in your skin — it rebuilds the direction of the hairs you already have, so the shape holds without gel for about a month and a half.
What brow lamination actually is
Think of it as a Brazilian blowout for your brows: not a tattoo, not permanent, and fully reversible. A keratin-based formula works inside the hair fibre, softening the bonds so each hair can be brushed into a new direction, then setting them there.
Nothing is implanted and no colour is added. Your brows are the same brows — they are simply pointing the way you want them to, which reads on the face as fuller and more defined.
The effect lasts four to six weeks and fades as the hairs return to their natural pattern. There is no hard regrowth line and nothing to grow out.
Not sure your brows need lamination rather than shaping? That is a two-minute answer in the chair.
What happens during the appointment
Your esthetician starts by cleansing the brows, then maps the shape with you — where the arch sits and how high the tails read. The softening step goes on next, timed to your hair type rather than to a fixed number of minutes, because coarse hair needs longer than fine hair and over-processing is what damages brows.
While the formula works, the hairs are combed into the agreed direction. A setting step locks the new pattern, and a nourishing finish puts conditioning back into the hair. If you add tint or shaping, those happen in the same visit.
At ANNAZUR the hygiene side is not improvised: single-use tools opened in front of you, hospital-level sterilisation for everything reusable, and chemical timing customised to your hair.
What it does and what it will not do
It will make your brows look visually fuller by closing small gaps with redirected hair, tame coarse hairs that stick out, and hold through sweat and Florida humidity. It will also cut the daily brow routine down to a brush.
It will not grow new hair, will not fill an area where there is no hair at all, and will not change colour on its own. If the brow is genuinely bare in places, pigment work is the honest answer, not lamination.
Who it suits
Roughly ninety-five percent of natural brows are suitable. It earns its keep most on brows with coarse, downward-growing hairs, visible gaps, or no clear structure at all — the ones that never look the same two days in a row.
Tell your esthetician about skin conditions, medication and any recent treatment around the eyes before you book. The decision is made at the consultation, not in a search box.
Lamination, tint and shaping together
These three solve different problems. Lamination changes direction and structure. Tint changes colour, which makes fine hairs read as part of the shape. Waxing and shaping remove what sits outside the line you chose.
Most people who want the finished look book lamination with tint and a precise shape in one appointment. Our Eyebrow Correction, Shape and Tint is $69 for first-time clients and members, $90 otherwise, and it pairs with lamination in the same chair.
What it costs and how often
Brow lamination is $90 for first-time clients and members, $120 as the standard price. Because the effect runs four to six weeks, keeping it continuous means roughly eight to nine visits across a year — worth knowing before you start rather than after.
There is no rule that says you must keep it up. Brows return to their own texture on their own, and you can stop whenever you like.
Brow lamination in one card.
- What it is: a keratin restructuring of your own hairs — reversible, with no pigment and nothing implanted.
- How long: four to six weeks, fading naturally. No hard regrowth line to deal with.
- What it fixes: direction and structure: coarse hairs that stick out, cowlicks, small gaps, asymmetry.
- What it cannot fix: a genuinely bare patch. No hair means pigment work, not lamination.
- The combo: lamination for direction, tint for colour, shaping for the outline — one appointment, three jobs.

Book brow laminationBrow lamination. Questions answered plainly.
Does brow lamination hurt?
No. Nothing pierces the skin and nothing is pulled out. You feel the formula being brushed on and the hairs being combed, and that is all.
Is it permanent?
No, and that is the point. It is fully reversible: four to six weeks later the hairs are back to their natural pattern.
Does it damage the brows?
Not when the timing is right. Over-processing is what damages brow hair, which is why the softening step is timed to your hair type and finished with a conditioning step rather than run to a fixed clock.
Does lamination include tint?
They are separate steps. Lamination changes direction, tint changes colour. Most people book both, but you can have either on its own.
What about at-home lamination kits?
The chemistry is the same family, the timing is not. A kit gives you one timing for every hair type, and the brows that get over-processed are the ones that go brittle. It is not a corner worth cutting on your face.
How soon can I repeat it?
When the effect has faded — four to six weeks. Doing it sooner stacks chemistry on hair that has not recovered, and your esthetician will say so.
